I grew up on Long Island, then left for the Boston, MA area for my undergraduate studies at Brandeis University where I studied biology. I returned to Brooklyn to attend SUNY Downstate Medical College and now I am very excited to be working at Staten Island University Hospital for the next three years. In my free time I enjoy being with my friends and family. I love the outdoors especially going hiking, skiing and swimming. I also enjoy traveling and exploring as much of the world as I can.

I was born and grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs. I attended Penn State University where I studied Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the varsity swim team. After college, I worked at the University of Pennsylvania in the department of Neuroradiology, and was the head coach of a summer swim team. I graduated from the Drexel University College of Medicine where I participated annually in the Pediatric AIDS Benefit Concert and played on the undergraduate ultimate frisbee team.
In my free time, I like to be outdoors and enjoy clean-up service projects. I am extremely competitive and love cycling, hiking, and playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, or any other sport or game. I also enjoy fixing things, CAD modeling, and general tinkering. I also dabble in stand-up comedy, and have never found a karaoke venue that I didn't like.

As a Staten Island native, I’m very excited to be back home and surrounded by all the great qualities of this city I was born and raised in. I love playing baseball every summer in the Men's leagues here on the Island. I'm a huge sports fan in general, but baseball will always be #1 (LETS GO METS!). I also enjoy a good movie or tv show, I like to be challenged, and I'm happiest when spending time with my family and friends.
